The treasurer is responsible for all financial affairs that affect the Welsh Mission. In this role, treasure carries out the financial directives of the constituency as represented by the Executive Committee. Some activities of the Treasury Department include responsibility for the proper use of tithe funds, preparation of the annual budget report, monitoring adherence to the budget, payroll services for denominational employees, disbursement of funds according to donation designations, preparation and presentation of financial statements, care and maintenance of the physical assets of the conference, internal controls, insurance.
