Details

Camp Meeting has been a highlight of the SEC calendar since we first met together in Poole, Dorset, way back in 1982. Thousands have enjoyed this holy convocation and spiritual retreat each year since that time.

However, more stringent criteria around school absences, rising costs and a lack of availability of suitable venues has created some challenges for us in recent years; and we have been prayerfully considering the way forward for Camp Meeting in the South England Conference for some time.

This year the SEC will hold a virtual camp meeting. The programme will consist of an early morning prayer session and a commitment service in the evening which will be broadcast on our online platforms each day. There is also a youth programme following the committment serivce.

We look forward to welcoming a number of special guest speakers throughout the week; and hope you'll plan to join us as we explore this new way of doing camp meeting.
